The Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) wishes to notify its stipends beneficiaries that the current delay in stipends payment is due to delay in release of funds from the Office of the Accountant General which resulted in the long wait in receiving the allocation for the month of June 2023. However, the matter was resolved yesterday with approval given for release of funds. Consequently, the PAP payment will commence immediately the funds are received.

I am directed further to clarify that the recently launched Presidential Amnesty Programme Cooperative Society Ltd (PAPCOSOL) is an independently funded initiative that does not in any way affect the payment of stipends. Beneficiaries are therefore counselled to disregard any information to the contrary.
